On May 28, Teahupo’o got big. Really big. It was one of those swells that had big wave surfers from all over the world frantically booking flights, packing guns, and losing sleep. It lived up to the hype, too, and one of those surfers managed to snag himself an insanely good paddle-in tube. Lucas “Chumbo” Chianca has surfed a lot of great waves, but we’ll bet this one is going to stick in his brain a little longer than most.
