Cartonboard packaging manufacturer Glossop Cartons has rebranded to GCP as it celebrates its 40th year of trading.
The new name, which stands for Glossop Cartons and Print, has been rolled out across stationery, literature, signage and displays. Stockport-based GCP is also planning further significant investments in equipment, staff and systems to boost productivity and further improve its service to customers.
Wayne Fitzpatrick, managing director of GCP, said: “Rebranding as GCP represents how we as a business are evolving. We have grown to become a significant manufacturer in the packaging industry and, as we celebrate our 40th year, it was the right time to refresh our brand identity.
“We have a proud heritage because the foundations of our business have remained consistent and the fundamental beliefs and values that were set out when the business launched back in 1982 still underpin everything we do today.
Matt Clarke, head of sales at GCP, added: “Whilst staying true to our core business, we feel our new brand gives us a fresh, modern look. It’s also a statement of intent, clearly identifying our ambition and demonstrating our commitment to quality, value and service.”
Fitzpatrick added: “We take great pride in what we do, but we must continue to evolve in order to futureproof our business and anticipate the needs of our customers. We are a forward-thinking and responsive manufacturer and these investments will enable us to increase workflow, efficiency and overall productivity to feed market demand.”
